Benni learned his trade in a traditional apprenticeship in Berlin, a historic centre of piano making, under his father, master technician Joachim Krüger, whose workshop tuned for concerts by Freddie Mercury and Burt Bacharach.
For the past two decades he has brought that experience to the greater Wellington region, from concert grands before a performance to much-loved uprights in family living rooms.
Most pianos should be tuned at least once a year, and ideally twice, as the seasons change. If yours hasn't been tuned for five to ten years, it has probably dropped below concert pitch and will need a pitch raise first.
Not sure what your piano needs? Describe it when you get in touch and Benni will explain the options, and the cost, before any work starts.
Call or send a message and Benni will find a time that suits you, evenings and weekends included. $190 + GST, with travel included across Wellington, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Porirua and Kāpiti.
